NEW for 2017
Using Instagram for Sales

Instagram is visual and experientialóa perfect showcase for artwork without the verbiage of a website like Facebook. But how can we as glassworkers take this platform and turn it into sales? The presenter will examine and explain the pros and cons of an app that is based toward the smart phone industry, how to reach customers and keep their interest, how to caption your work so you donít lose interest and gain hits, and how to follow through to an actual and immediate cash sale. And yes, there will be a discussion on hashtags, too!

Introduction to Color Theory for the Beader
Lecture is mainly geared toward the seed beader, but has useful information for any beader or beadmaker. A heavy dose of how to design and recognize a "good" palette with a sprinkling of information on bead sizes, shapes and finishes.

Sell Successfully on Social Media

The world of commerce has found its way onto Facebook and other social media sites. Artists and collectors have started forming groups to buy and sell onsocial media networks. In this class you'll learn how to find these groups and boards, conduct a sale, and complete a transaction. This workshop is open to jewelry makers and lampwork artists only. You must have a current and active Facebook account or Pinterest account
